Ashcraft & Gerel Gives Back
When Lee Ashcraft and Martin Gerel founded Ashcraft & Gerel in 1953,
they built it on the principle of helping people. In the 65 years since, we have represented
our neighbors and fellow community members in a myriad of injury cases, seeking the justice
they deserve and recovering more than a billion dollars in compensation to help them get
back on their feet.
Our work does not end when we step outside the courtroom; it extends into working to
strengthen the communities we serve through volunteer work, scholarships, raising awareness
about certain issues, and more.

Raising Awareness About Pancreatic Cancer
In November 2020, Ashcraft & Gerel was proud to partner with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in presenting the A&G Thankfulness 5K. In light of COVID-19, the run took a socially distanced platform, virtually connecting clients, employees, and networks in order to honor individuals and families impacted by pancreatic cancer.

Educating Union Members on Their Rights in the Workplace

THE MARTIN E. GEREL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Helping Union Members and Their Families Pursue Higher Education
At Ashcraft & Gerel, our legal team understands the value of higher education and the doors it can open for a person. That’s why we established The Martin E. Gerel Memorial Scholarship more than 25 years ago to help Washington metropolitan union members and their families with the rising costs of education. Each year, we award a one-time grant of $5,000 to an eligible student for educational expenses.
