About the Panel
Titled “MDL Status and Discovery,” Ms. Parfitt’s panel will cover lessons learned from the Johnson & Johnson Talcum lawsuits, among others. She will be joined by her Co-Lead Counsel Attorney Leigh O’Dell as well as a member of the Talcum Powder MDL Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee and Discovery Chair, Attorney Christopher Tisi.
The trio will discuss topics including how the Daubert standard has been applied in these claims, examples from state court cases that have resulted in significant wins against Johnson & Johnson, and preparations for future trials. Though the panel will be pre-recorded, MTMP’s virtual platform will allow the audience to ask live questions and interact with the speakers during the presentation.
