motorcycle accident attorney

Congratulations and Best Wishes to David LaCivita on his retirement!

David LaCivita retired from the practice of law at the end of 2015, following a career that spanned more than three decades – all of them at Ashcraft & Gerel.

Mr. LaCivita joined Ashcraft & Gerel in 1977 and became a partner in 1984. He founded and opened the Landover, Maryland office in 1980 and practiced there until his retirement. During his time with the firm, Mr. LaCivita has helped Ashcraft & Gerel become the region’s premier source of representation for those harmed by the negligence of others.

Over the years, Mr. LaCivita successfully resolved hundreds of personal injury cases. One of the most memorable involved a 10-year-old boy who was rendered a quadriplegic in a serious swimming pool accident. Mr. LaCivita was able to obtain a settlement for this boy’s family that not only allowed him to receive the medical care and assistance he needed, but the resources to rebuild his life. Today, the young man lives self-sufficiently after graduating from college in California.

We thank him for his many years of outstanding service to our firm and our clients – and we wish him many long and happy years of well deserved retirement.
